ProNet General Guidelines

www.RCeHeli.com

 General

  1. The ProNet belongs to you while it’s in your care. Please keep in touch with the webmaster@RCeHeli.com to keep your information up to date, as well as your email address.
  2. If there are mechanical/electronic problems with the heli, let the webmaster know ASAP, as we will have lots of expertise available to get it back in the air. Don’t suffer in silence.
  3. You are strongly encouraged to provide photos. Video and impressions in raw form to the webmaster@RCeHeli.com , so we can dress them up an post them at  http://rceheli.com/ProNet/world_tour/ as soon as possible. There will be quite a following, so this is the appetite we have to feed.
  4. Please don’t try to fly the heli above your skill level. Remember, there is a Pilot waiting at the next stop that is counting on you to get it there.
  5. Use training gear if you feel you initially feel more comfortable. Better to find an issue with your setup on training gear than upside down on the tarmac without it.
  6. By the same token, it is meant to be flown, and many other pilots will look forward to see your unique photo opportunities online.

Things to Watch

·       Review the Setup page at http://rceheli.com/ProNet/ProNet/setup/ for the latest information on the machine. Please follow the guidelines, and ask the previous Pilot or webmaster@RCeHeli.com about any items that are unclear.

·       When initializing the heli, wait 5 seconds before initializing the tail. The turbine should actually stay running at low thrust midstick, but not move the heli tail. If you initialize the tail too soon, or if the heli is moving during gyro calibration, it is possible to have it set up at hi speed at mid rudder. Simply put the stick hard left if that happens, and unplug the battery, and reinitialize. Bottom line: make sure the tail is initialized properly before stating the mains.

·       The heli is designed around ETec 1200’s. You are strongly encouraged to have this battery available when your turn comes around. Please watch that the plug polarity is correct for the battery. We use a mini Dean connector, which can be viewed at http://www.rceheli.com/ProNet/Images/ProNet_3.jpg
